POYEHO INSTITUTE
of
Business
Recognizing a need for business development training, Poyeho Institute is being organized in conjunction with Poyeho Project. Our overriding goal is to train individuals that have a desire for developing their own business. We will provide them with the tools to gain an understanding of how business works and success is achieved. In conjunction with the scholastic portion of the program, we will be training them in principles of business ethics and the responsibility of serving their community in the midst of success. While we understand that not every graduate will be interested in applying their knowledge in third world situations, we know that some will catch the vision of Poyeho Project and join our team.
Eventually we will start Poyeho Institute in South Africa with Business being only one segment of a multi-faceted vocation and skills training. We have received an offer for donated property and will be developing the necessary infrastructure to make Poyeho Institute, South Africa a reality.
This will be a nine month program at a tuition cost of $3,000.00. Classes will be held in the evenings with make-up classes on Saturday. This will provide employment opportunity for students during the day. We are currently talking with local businesses to provide our out-of-Puyallup students with job opportunities. This does not however guarantee you employment, but an opportunity to interview and demonstrate your worth as an employee.
Poyeho Institute will also make available two trips to South Africa during the school year, the estimated cost of each trip is $3,000.00 and is entirely paid by the student. These trips are an option for each student. Classes will continue in Puyallup during each of these trips.
